Meadow Smoke...

Last autumn, I took a few days out from visiting friends in San Francisco, to make return visit to Yosemite. I was excited about being there in the fall as I have usually visited in mid winter. On my first morning in the Valley, I was presented with this beautiful vision. The light, scattered blue by smoke, contrasts wonderfully with the warm autumnal hues of the foreground. Light and time coming together with a delicate brilliance.
